WELCOME
Welcome to the NVIDIA Media and Entertainment newsletter. As the Campaign Manager for Media and Entertainment at NVIDIA, my goal is to share product updates, partner announcements, and tips and tricks to help professionals in the media space get their jobs done better and faster.

In this issue, I couldn’t resist telling you upfront about two great promotions you just can’t get anywhere else. Save 25% off a Sony Vegas Pro or get Assimilate SCRATCH LAB, plus the first year’s software maintenance and an NVIDIA Quadro 4000--all for just $5,990! Check out the details below.

We also want to hear from you! So, if you’re an end-user doing something interesting, or a sales channel partner running a significant community promotion, please email me at katieME@nvidia.com. Send me your feedback and suggestions of what you’d like to see more or less of, too.

Thanks,
Katie

Calling all Maya animators!
How cool would it be if your model was THE reference in the industry for Maya performance benchmarks? The SPEC organization (responsible for establishing, maintaining and endorsing standardized benchmarks for the industry) is looking to update and refresh the SPECapc benchmark for Autodesk Maya. As part of that, they are looking for new models to use as the datasets for the benchmarks. If you have models that you have created and own the rights to that you might be interested in submitting, contact Allen Jensen at ajensen@nvidia.com.

Dell is looking for current and former Final Cut Users for Exciting New Program
Dell is interested in talking to professional video editors who have just switched or are in the process of switching from Final Cut Pro to professional video solutions such as Adobe Premiere Pro. They want to offer select video editors in North America the opportunity to try a Dell Precision workstation with NVIDIA Quadro graphics and Adobe CS5 software for free in return for providing feedback on their experiences. For more information and to be considered for the program, contact Lauren Mauro at Lauren_Mauro@Dell.com or katieME@nvidia.com at NVIDIA. This is a great opportunity to see how powerful Premiere Pro is on the latest Dell and NVIDIA hardware.
