Thank you for being part of the worldwide community of NVIDIA GPU users within the media and entertainment industries. Our goal is to share product updates, partner announcements, and tips and tricks to help professionals in the media space get their jobs done better and optimize their technology investments.

First, we would like to congratulate Loris U. from New York, NY. on winning a Google Nexus 7 tablet, powered by an NVIDIA® Tegra® mobile processor. Loris signed up to be part of the Media and Entertainment advisory council that lets end users like you share your insight and thoughts to help us provide better products and services. If you haven’t already joined and would like to, click here and tell us more about yourself.

In this issue, among other stories, we visit some very topical items on the minds of many of our customers and partners, including 4K workflow, Cloud-based technology developments, and of course the ever-popular chance to win free stuff from our friends at Red Giant Software who are doing a drawing for a copy of Trapcode Mir, which includes OpenGL GPU acceleration. You can find more details below.

SIGGRAPH Asia is also beginning Novemeber 28th in Singapore. Once again, we’ll be hosting talks from some of the leading experts in computer graphics in the media space, including Pixar, Adobe, and Lighthouse in Singapore. And finally, just a note that NVIDIA Quadro® K5000 is now shipping from PNY and HP. The Quadro K5000 for Mac will be shipping sometime after the first of the year.

Thanks, and as always, please send any questions, comments, or suggestions for how we can be more helpful to you at mediafeedback@nvidia.com.
