NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 - New
Features & Design
|
|
|
|
Announced at GeForce LAN 6 in October, 3D Vision™ 2 is now available for purchase. Combined with the latest generation displays with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology, 3D Vision 2
offers significantly better brightness to overcome the dimming effect of 3D glasses for an improved viewing experience and brighter ambient light
for viewing keyboards and other peripherals.
3D Vision 2 features an improved design with 20% larger lenses for even more viewing area with less light leakage,
as well as softer materials for more comfort and a better fit
- particularly when using headphones.
Just like the original 3D Vision, 3D Vision 2 is compatible with over 600 game titles and allows users to experience
immersive 3D photos and videos on their PCs. 3D
Vision 2 and new displays with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost
technology
are cross-compatible with the original 3D Vision
emitters and displays.

Quad-core To Go - Experience NVIDIA Tegra 3 |
|
This month, NVIDIA ushered in the era of quad-core computing for tablets and phones with the Tegra® 3 processor.
Featuring a fifth lower-frequency and low-power "companion core", Tegra 3
completely powers down its four performance-tuned cores during less
power-hungry tasks like music and video playback
for exceptional battery life. For higher performance tasks, Tegra 3 disables its companion core and turns on its four performance cores one at a time as the work load increases. Tegra 3 also includes a brand new 12-core GPU that delivers up to 3x the graphics performance of Tegra 2.
Get unbeatable multitasking, video, gaming, and battery life — now available in the world’s first
Tegra 3-powered quad-core tablet, the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime.

Gear Up For The World's Fastest PC Gaming Platform |
|
If you're looking to build the fastest PCs possible, look no further than new X79 motherboards with NVIDIA SLI® Technology. While Intel's existing high end CPUs are sufficiently powerful for 2-way SLI,
if you're looking to offer 3-way SLI, the X79 platform can offer up to 30% higher performance over
X58. New X79 motherboards with NVIDIA SLI Technology also support 4-way SLI allowing you to
connect four GeForce GTX 580s together for extreme performance in demanding PC games like Battlefield 3 and Batman: Arkham City.
All major motherboard vendors will be shipping X79 based motherboards in coming weeks, including ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte and MSI.
