Horizon Zero Dawn adds NVIDIA DLSS Boosting Performance By Up To 50%

As we approach the end of 2021, you can relax this Christmas and New Year with over 140 NVIDIA DLSS-enhanced games and apps. With higher frame rates, headroom for extra effects and ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS gives you the definitive experience in each and every game.

Today, we’re announcing that NVIDIA DLSS is coming this month to another 4 titles, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Lemnis Gate, Chorus, and ICARUS.

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition Adds NVIDIA DLSS Today

Guerrilla and Sony Interactive Entertainment’s enhanced PC port of the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn is adding NVIDIA DLSS support today. Experience Aloy’s legendary quest to unravel the mysteries of a future Earth ruled by Machines, now with up to 50% accelerated performance courtesy of DLSS on GeForce RTX PCs and laptops.

Lemnis Gate Adding NVIDIA DLSS on December 14

Ratloop Games’ Lemnis Gate is a unique turn-based strategy FPS, where combat takes place across multiple turns in a time loop, requiring players to think several moves ahead to succeed. You are called to master the unique abilities of a varied cast of deep-space operatives to outskill, outsmart, and outmaneuver your opponent in mind-bending, four-dimensional battles.

On December 14, Lemnis Gate will be enhanced with NVIDIA DLSS support, increasing frame rates by up to 2X.

ICARUS Out Now With NVIDIA DLSS and RTX Global Illumination

Explore a savage alien wilderness in the aftermath of terraforming gone wrong with up to 7 friends. Survive long enough to mine exotic matter, then return to orbit to craft more advanced tech, enabling you to explore and conquer more dangerous, more rewarding biomes. Meet your deadline for extraction, or face being left behind forever. That’s the concept for ICARUS, RocketWerkz’s new co-op action-survival game that’s out now.

By playing on a GeForce RTX GPU, desktop PC or laptop, you’ll enable support for NVIDIA DLSS’ trademark performance boosts, and NVIDIA RTX Global Illumination (RTXGI). This enhances ICARUS’ environments with realistic lighting from the sun and moon, which naturally bounces from surface to surface.

Compared to traditional rasterized techniques, the difference is literally night and day, making RTXGI one of the most important advancements in real-time video game rendering. And as players level trees, erect buildings, and change the environment, lighting is instantly updated to reflect the changes, enabling a once-dark forest floor shielded by the trees’ canopies to now be brightly lit once they’re chopped down.
