Won-Ki Jeong is a PhD student in the School of Computing at the University of Utah, where he is also a member of the Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute. His PhD advisor is Professor Ross Whitaker, and he is engaged in several research projects including analysis of 3D seismic data and numerical methods and algorithms for solving large computing problems on graphics processors. He received his BS degree in mathematics in 1999 and MS degree in computer science in 2001 from Korea University in Seoul, Korea. From 2001 to 2003 he was a staff researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Computer Science in Saarbruecken, Germany. His current research interests include image processing, scientific computing, and computer graphics.
