| Jerry Talton Jerry Talton is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the computer graphics lab at Stanford University, studying efficient techniques for adding small-scale detail to physical simulations. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 and 2005, respectively, where he worked on GPU techniques for point-based rendering. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at the University of California, Santa-Cruz, and is the recipient of a Stanford University School of Engineering Fellowship and two honorable mentions in the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Competition.
