SANTA CLARA, CA—DECEMBER 4, 2003—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that PCs featuring NVIDIA GeForce™ FX graphics processing units (GPUs) and NVIDIA nForce™3 media and communications processors (MCPs) were recognized in Computer Gaming World’s “11th Annual Ultimate Gaming Machine Review” in the January 2004 issue. One of the premier PC gaming magazines in the world, Computer Gaming World crowned the VoodooPC F1 as the “Ultimate Gaming Machine”, and honored the Alienware Aurora with an Editor’s Choice Award, recognizing both PCs for their speed, stability, and cutting-edge gaming features.
In the review of the VoodooPC F1, Will O’Neal, technical editor for Computer Gaming World stated: “the one-two punch of AMD’s Athlon 64-FX processor (the fastest desktop processor available at press time) and NVIDIA’s 256MB GeForce FX 5950 makes this the fastest machine we saw.”
