FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

SANTA CLARA, CA—JUNE 18, 2004—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that it has been named one of the fastest growing technology companies in the U.S. by both WIRED and Business 2.0 magazines.

“NVIDIA's growth reflects the exciting market for networked digital media technologies and products. The rising popularity of devices such as camera phones, digital camcorders, and MP3 players means that more and more people want to view, share, and manage their digital content. NVIDIA is helping them do that,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, president and chief executive officer, NVIDIA.

Huang added: “I am proud of NVIDIA’s employees and their passion for developing innovative products that enhance the digital lifestyle and make a difference in people's lives.”

The rankings appear in the June issues of WIRED and Business 2.0, which are available on newsstands and at www.wired.com and www.business2.com, respectively.

“These leaders have demonstrated an uncommon mastery of technology, innovation, globalism, networked communication, and strategic vision – skills essential to thriving in the information age,” wrote Kevin Kelleher of The WIRED 40.

“Over the past year we've started to see an economic recovery. But no matter the rebound, it still requires innovative ideas, strong management skills and tight execution -- not to mention luck -- to grow rapidly in today's technology sector,” said Josh Quittner, editor of Business 2.0, in a previous statement.

The recognitions follow the recent launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce™ 6 Series graphics processing units (GPUs), which are setting industry standards for 3D graphics performance and high-definition video processing while supporting advanced features for creating ultra-realistic cinematic effects.
