SANTA CLARA, CA—AUGUST 30, 2004—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), a worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that Michael G. Winston has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Winston will be a member of NVIDIA’s executive team with responsibility for global human resources functions, including organization strategy, recruiting, employee relations, training and development, and compensation/benefits management. Mr. Winston will provide strategic guidance to the CEO and executive team on business planning and human capital issues.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Mr. Winston served as First Vice President and Global Head, Worldwide Leadership and Organization Development for Merrill Lynch. Previously, Michael spent over ten years at Motorola and eight years at McDonnell Douglas and Lockheed Corporations.
Mr. Winston holds a Masters Degree from the University of Notre Dame, a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois and is a graduate of Executive Programs from Stanford University and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Mr. Winston and his family are relocating to Silicon Valley.
