SANTA CLARA, CA — November 8, 2000 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced today that Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ) selected the NVIDIA GeForce2 MX™, the company's powerful and versatile mainstream GPU (graphics processing unit), as a graphics solution for its Presario 7000 Series desktop PCs.
