NEC to Standardize on NVIDIA Vanta 3D Processor for New VALUESTAR U Platform

SANTA CLARA, CA — May 2, 2000 — NVIDIA™ Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), today announced that the NVIDIA Vanta™ 3D graphics processor has been selected as the standard graphics solution for NEC Corporation's new VALUESTAR U platform in Japan. The NVIDIA Vanta, a member of NVIDIA's award-winning family of top-to-bottom 3D graphics processors, delivers superior, low-cost performance graphics for the PC desktop market. Based on the award-winning RIVA TNT2™ architecture, the NVIDIA Vanta graphics processor is being made available through an add-in-card solution from Leadtek Research Inc.
