NVIDIA Delivers Best-in-Class Graphics Processors to Retail Market in HP Pavilion PCs

HP Pavilion 8600 and 9600 Series Desktop PCs Go Top-To-Bottom With NVIDIA's Family of Graphics Processors

SANTA CLARA, CA – February 11, 2000 – NVIDIA™ Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) today announced that Hewlett-Packard Company has selected NVIDIA's TNT2 Pro and Vanta graphics processors for its recently announced HP Pavilion 8600 and 9600 series multimedia PCs. The HP 8662C, 8670C and 9680C will feature NVIDIA's Vanta graphics processor, while the HP 9686C and 9690C will use the TNT2 Pro as the premier graphics solution. HP has also selected NVIDIA's GeForce 256 GPU with 32 MB of DDR memory as the performance option for the build-to-order HP Pavilion multimedia PCs. NVIDIA's powerful graphics processors allow the new HP Pavillion PCs to deliver the ultimate experience for Internet, digital content creation and entertainment applications.

NVIDIA's award-winning top-to-bottom family continues to dominate the consumer PC graphics market. In addition to being the premier graphics processor for HP Pavilion 9600 series PCs, NVIDIA's products are the most widely used graphics processors in HP Pavilion 8600 series PCs.
