SANTA CLARA, CA – OCTOBER 31, 2001 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced today that the company’s line of graphics processing units (GPUs), including the award-winning GeForce3™ and GeForce2™ GPUs, has swept PCWorld.com’s Top 10 Graphics Board for Gamers feature. These 10 graphics boards, all NVIDIA GeForce3- and GeForce2-based products, were reviewed and tested by the PC World test center and selected for the list based on a combination of price, performance and features. Graphics boards were tested under Windows® Millennium Edition. Performance scores were based on tests evaluated on frame rate (50 percent) and image quality (50 percent). Games included in the testing were Epic Games Unreal Tournament™, Id Software's Quake III Arena, Interplay's MDK2 Demo, Infogrames's Test Drive 6, and the Caligari TrueSpace 4.2 Benchmark for both performance and image-quality testing. Overall rating was based on performance (65 percent), features (15 percent), price (10 percent), and support policies (10 percent).
