Guillemot Maxi Xentor 32 Ultra and AMD K6 III Round Out Ultimate Gaming Platforms Utilized in PGL Finals Action
SANTA CLARA, CA – MAY 21, 1999 – NVIDIA™ Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced today that the award-winning RIVA TNT2™, the world's fastest 3D processor(1), will power the gaming platforms used at the AMD® Professional Gamers' League (PGL) spring championships. The RIVA TNT2-based Guillemot Maxi Xentor 32 Ultra graphics accelerator, combined with the AMD-K6®-III PC, delivers the unprecedented gaming experience demanded by the high level game enthusiasts participating in this event. The Spring 1999 championships are being held at XS New York, a popular Interactive Gaming Arena located in Times Square, on May 21 - 22.
