NVIDIA's Award-Winning 3D Graphics Processors To Now Be Featured In ASUSTeK Graphic Solutions
COMPUTEX, TAIPEI, TAIWAN – JUNE 1, 1999 – NVIDIA™ Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) and ASUSTek Computer Inc. announced today a strategic alliance that will provide cutting-edge graphics capabilities for PC users worldwide. With this alliance, ASUSTeK will launch a series of graphics accelerators worldwide based on NVIDIA's industry leading portfolio of 3D graphics processors. The first products resulting from this relationship will be ASUSTeK's AGP-V3800 series of 3D graphics accelerators that are based on the RIVA TNT2™, the world's fastest 3D processor (Mercury Research).

AGP-V3800 Combines Real Time 30 Frames/Sec Video Capture with User Interface
The AGP-V3800 series of graphics accelerators, featuring 32 MB of memory and clock speeds up to 183 MHz, are designed with high-quality compression technology and powerful Live3800 video capture software. ASUSTeK's innovative design enables true 30-frames/sec motion video capture with 704x480 (NTSC) resolution while also supporting a high-resolution, still image capture. Previously, these applications could only be offered as expensive upgrades on high-end platforms, but with ASUSTeK's innovative design, they are now available as standard features on the AGP-V3800 products for end-users utilizing Intel® Pentium® II 300 systems or greater. The V3800 Deluxe platform also features TV-out, Video-in and D3D VR stereoscope.
The AGP-V3800 products also offer an intelligent and user-friendly driver installation and user interface which features multiple functions, including independent setting of display functions (including color-gamma, refresh-rate, output) for 3D games, desktop, and video, quick hot key for setting, quick short-cut, and complete setting for TV-out.
ASUSTeK's ASUS AGP-V3800 series of products are currently available. ASUSTeK will also launch a new 64-bit variant, the AGP-V3800 Magic, in the 3rd week of June. Powered by a 64-bit version of the RIVA TNT2, the AGP-V3800 Magic provides a value solution for system integrators who need high performance graphics combined with affordable cost.
