The Quadro4 900 XGL graphics solution represents the industry’s fastest, most powerful professional graphics solution, which has posted a record-shattering SPECveiwperf™ ProCDRS-03 score of more than 100 running on an HP x2100 personal workstation (http://www.specbench.org/gpc/opc.static/viewresults.htm). “The Quadro4 900 XGL has achieved amazing performance numbers in benchmark tests when running on HP workstations,” said Jeff Fisher, vice president of worldwide sales at NVIDIA. “The performance and quality of HP workstations combined with the unmatched graphics capabilities of NVIDIA’s graphics solution produces a truly world-class design platform.”
The Quadro4 900 XGL workstation graphics solution is part of the NVIDIA Quadro4 family of workstation Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). Quadro4 XGL workstation graphics solutions support advanced shader operations and are designed to accelerate OpenGL® and DirectX® professional applications by implementing workstation-specific functionality, including hardware overlay planes, hardware-accelerated antialiased points and lines, advanced memory management, and other features critical to performance in professional applications.
“The combination of HP and NVIDIA technology helps us provide a broad and flexible array of workstation products to the professional computing marketplace,” said Jeff Wood, product marketing manager for HP’s personal workstation line. “The addition of the Quadro4 900 XGL graphics solution as a member of HP’s Leadership Graphics Program enables us to provide our IA-32 workstation customers with a very powerful system for tackling demanding graphics applications.”
All Quadro4 products feature nView™, NVIDIA’s multi-display technology that supports arrangements of analog monitors and digital flat panel displays that can be combined to dramatically increase the size of the user’s working desktop. Quadro4 products also include the NVIDIA Unified Driver Architecture™ (UDA), a set of backward and forward, top to bottom compatible graphics drivers that optimize application performance, stability, and reliability.
The NVIDIA Quadro4 XGL workstation GPUs will be available in March as an upgrade option in all configure-to-order HP IA-32 workstation systems, which can be purchased online at www.hp.com.
