NVIDIA Showcases Quadro4 Performance with Stellar SPEC Benchmark Results

SANTA CLARA, CA - MAY 7, 2002 - Following the most recent published benchmark results from the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation’s Graphics Performance Characterization (SPEC/GPC) group, NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) announced that its Quadro™4 family of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) delivered the highest performance on the SPECviewperf 6.1.2 AWadvs-04, Light-04, MedMCAD-01 and ProCDRS-03 benchmark tests. NVIDIA Quadro4 GPUs also garnered top graphics performance marks in SPECapc tests for 3ds max 4.2™ and SolidWorks 2001™, and most SPECapc tests on price performance. Last February, NVIDIA’s Quadro4 900 XGL graphics solution became the first workstation graphics solution to break a score of 100 in the ProDCRS-03 test with a staggering result of 103.
