University of Southern California Recognizes Jen-Hsun Huang for Leadership in the Development of 3D Graphics, Processors, and Communications Devices

SANTA CLARA, CA — MAY 15, 2002 — NVIDIA® Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA) today announced that Jen-Hsun Huang, NVIDIA president and CEO, was recently recognized by the University of Southern California (USC) School of Engineering for his achievements in technical engineering and management excellence. The award, named after Daniel J. Epstein—a USC alumni widely regarded as a visionary and pioneer in the areas of industrial and systems engineering, and a current member of the school’s Board of Trustees—was bestowed to Mr. Huang at the 24th Annual Engineering Awards Luncheon held at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA on April 26, 2002.
“Jen-Hsun Huang is a highly creative engineer with excellent entrepreneurial business skills who is a model for our students. While achieving great personal success, he has had a huge and positive impact on information technology and the future of 3D graphics,” stated C. L. Max Nikias, Dean of the School of Engineering at the University of Southern California.
