SANTA CLARA, CA—DECEMBER 3, 2002—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that its NVIDIA Quadro® family of professional graphics solutions was recognized by two highly respected industry publications—Cadence and Video Systems—for exemplifying the highest innovation and creativity found in the computer-aided design (CAD) and digital content creation (DCC) industries.
In the December 2002 issue of Cadence magazine, the NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL graphics solution received an Editors’ Choice Award as a product having raised the bar of excellence and innovation in the CAD industry. The editors of Cadence magazine recognized NVIDIA as a company “continually pushing the CAD technology to new heights, allowing the user community to work better, faster, smarter and more economically.” According to Cadence magazine, the NVIDIA Quadro4 900 XGL graphics solution is a “hands-down, king-of-the-hill card for high-end CAD requirements that demand mach speed and full-throttle power.”
Additionally, in the December 2002 issue of Video Systems magazine, the NVIDIA Quadro4 AGP 8X family of graphics solutions was given a Vanguard Award. Vanguard Award winners, chosen by industry experts and the Video Systems’ editorial staff, are awarded annually for products with unique new capabilities or significant new price/performance benchmarks. This award recognizes the NVIDIA Quadro4 AGP 8X graphics family as among the most innovative products of the year.
