SANTA CLARA, CA—DECEMBER 4, 2002—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, today announced that its graphics processing units (GPUs) and multimedia processors have been recognized for award-winning performance and technology leadership by Computer Shopper magazine in their annual “Best Products of the Year” issue. In the November 2002 issue of Computer Shopper magazine, eight different products featuring NVIDIA technology were singled out by the editors as the best products of the year in their respective categories.

NVIDIA GPUs swept the “Product of the Year” categories for graphic cards, with the NVIDIA® GeForce™4 Ti 4200 GPU-based PNY Verto GeForce4 Ti 4200 winning the award for “Best Mainstream Graphics Card”, and the NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4600 GPU-based Leadtek WinFast A250 Ultra TD winning the award for “Best Gaming Graphics Card”.
“The A250 Ultra delivers the same sizzling performance produced by all graphics boards on the GeForce4 Ti 4600. What sets it apart is its versatility,” noted the editors of Computer Shopper in the article (page 119). “The NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 was this year’s chipset of choice for mid-range graphics boards. The end result is an attractive priced card that runs faster than you would expect.”
Computer systems featuring NVIDIA graphics and multimedia processors were also singled out for “Product of the Year” Awards in the following categories:
