Based on the radical GeForce FX architecture, the GeForce FX 5900 GPU features a number of new technologies, including:
In addition, the GeForce FX 5900 GPU features the industry’s only true 128-bit color precision, delivering studio-quality color to the PC market. NVIDIA also supports the latest Microsoft® DirectX® 9.0 and OpenGL® feature sets to ensure unmatched visual quality and mesmerizing 3D graphics.
The GeForce FX 5900 series is supported by NVIDIA’s world-renowned Unified Driver Architecture (UDA)—the industry’s only true binary-compatible software architecture, ensuring software compatibility and stability, enabling the industry’s most reliable graphics platform.
The GeForce FX 5900 Ultra will be on display for the first time at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this week in Los Angeles.
