SANTA CLARA, CA—DECEMBER 21, 2005—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that Jay Puri has joined the Company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Mr. Puri joins NVIDIA after a 22-year career at Sun Microsystems, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and general management. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President, Asia-Pacific Group, managing all of Sun's business in Asia-Pacific, including Japan, Korea, China, ASEAN, Australia, and India. Previously he served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales for Software & Technology; President of Nihon Sun K.K.; and Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing. During his tenure, Sun grew from 25 employees and no revenue to 35,000 employees and $12 billion in revenue.
Prior to Sun, Mr. Puri held marketing, management consulting, and product development positions at Hewlett-Packard, Booz Allen & Hamilton, and Texas Instruments. Mr. Puri has an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.S.E.E. from Caltech, and a B.S.E.E. with High Distinction from the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Puri succeeds NVIDIA Senior Vice President of Sales, Jeff Fisher. Mr. Fisher has been named Senior Vice President of the GeForce® Business Unit, which includes desktop and notebook GPU products.
