SANTA CLARA, CA—SEPTEMBER 12, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that IBM has selected NVIDIA® nForce® Professional media and communications processors (MCPs)—the Company’s core-logic solutions for enterprise platforms—to help power IBM’s new System x 3105 server.

Targeted for small business requirements, the IBM System x 3105 and NVIDIA nForce Professional MCP integrate today’s latest server-class technologies, including support for new dual core AMD Opteron processors, DDR2 memory, and advanced PCI Express capability.
