Adam O’Donovan
Adam is currently working towards his PhD in computer science at the University of Maryland under Dr. Ramani Duraiswami in the Perceptual Interfaces and Reality Lab. His current research interests include the simulation of virtual acoustic environments, acoustic visualization, machine learning, and computer vision. His recent projects include the development of an acoustic camera that can visualize waves in the audible frequency spectrum in real-time and its use with conventional video cameras.
Adam performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland in College Park. During his junior and senior years he completed a research internship at Nasa Goddard Space Flight Center under Dr. Charles Wolff on the Lunar Exploration Project studying the effects of solar G-Mode coupling in the sun. Adam completed his undergraduate studies in 2006 and received a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Maryland.
