NVIDIA VIRTUAL GPUs AND NUTANIX - Simplified Accelerated VDI Deployments

GPU ACCELERATED VDI DEPLOYMENTS
WITH NVIDIA AND NUTANIX

Together, NVIDIA and Nutanix are simplifying and accelerating VDI deployments with a certified, joint solution. Nutanix’s hyper-converged solution enhances the benefits that NVIDIA virtual GPUs can deliver to an enterprise. NVIDIA enables VDI to support the performance and user experience demands of today’s modern apps. The software-defined architecture of the Nutanix platform automatically distributes data and processes leveraged by all supported applications across the entire Nutanix cluster, thus enabling predictable performance. Deploying NVIDIA and Nutanix together enhances the performance exponentially. End-users report exceptional video and responsiveness of graphics accelerated, modern applications which today includes web browsers, Windows 10 and Office as well as 3D professional applications. While Nutanix supports all leading hypervisors, it comes pre-packaged with its own AHV hypervisor at no additional cost, thus mitigating the limitations of traditional virtual environments including unlimited mobility and high licensing costs. Nutanix AHV is supported with NVIDIA GRID™ vPC, vApps, and NVIDIA® Quadro® vDWS software.

NVIDIA Virtual GPU Brings Graphics-Accelerated Virtualization to Nutanix AHV

Nutanix announced support for NVIDIA virtual GPU software and NVIDIA Tesla® M10,M60, and P40 GPU accelerators on the new AHV. It’s the first commercial kernel virtual machine (KVM) based enterprise-grade hypervisor to support virtual GPU (vGPU). With vGPU support for AHV, NVIDIA virtual GPU brings graphics acceleration to a new generation of cloud and datacenter VDI environments.
