This tool will give you a good idea how ready your PC is to run the world’s most popular PC games under Windows Vista. For general readiness for running Windows Vista and the exciting new Windows Aero- interface, we’ve provided a link on this page to the official Microsoft Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor tool and highly recommend that you also use the official Microsoft tool for a general evaluation.


Guide to the noted levels of readiness:


MINIMUM: You will be able to run the majority of applications and games in the NVIDIA The Way It’s Meant to be Played program at lower resolutions of 800x600 to 1024x768 and have a reasonable experience.

RECOMMENDED: You will be able to run the majority of applications and games in the NVIDIA The Way It’s Meant to be Played program at medium resolutions of 1200x1024 to 1600x1200 with advanced lighting and special effects turned on.

OPTIMAL: You will be able to run the majority of applications and games in the NVIDIA The Way It’s Meant to be Played program at high and XHD resolutions of 1680x1050 to 2560x1600 with advanced lighting and special effects on their “high” settings with high-resolution textures.
