Jason Lawrence is an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia. His work focuses on the role of data reuse in interactive rendering systems. In addition to real-time rendering algorithms, his research interests also include 3D shape and appearance acquisition of real-world objects, including the design of capture devices and data structures for efficient representation, and physically-based rendering algorithms. He obtained his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 2006.
