Kenny is an Assistant Professor at Datalogisk Institute (DIKU) at the University of Copenhagen. His research interests include creating non-linear non-smooth mathematical models and finding efficient numerical methods for solving them. In particular, Multibody and Softbody Dynamics, Robot Dynamics, and Inverse Kinematics, Collision Detection and Contact point Generation, Mesh Generation Mathematical Programming, Constrained Optimization, Non-linear Complementarity Problems. He is an Innovation Ambassador in NSI, a DADIU deputy member in the coordination group, a member of the work group for innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Copenhagen, a member on the IT strategy committee at DIKU and chairman of the OpenTissue Board.
