Schools and community organizations have a chance to apply to become the recipient of Project Inspire - an annual holiday season event in which NVIDIA Santa Clara employees and volunteers spend a day transforming an important community resource in Silicon Valley. Benefits include:
The ideal candidates for Project Inspire include schools, community centers, parks, neighborhood coalitions and associations, community gardens and urban farms, and other organizations that meet the criteria. We will work with community organizations located along US-101 from Redwood City throughout San Jose, plus Campbell and Milpitas.
We encourage you to dream big – how can we transform your community? NVIDIA employees want to ensure that the time they spend volunteering will lead to significant change, whether it be increased pride in the community or the ability for youth to learn more/better/faster in school.
We will also consider small grants to selected finalists as a thank you for their time.
We regret that we won't be able to accept applications from churches, religious schools, or organizations that discriminate based on sex, race, religion, or disabilities.
Project Inspire 2012 Schedule:
February 1 – March 15: Accepting applications
March 26 – Mid June: NVIDIA employees narrow down applications and conduct site visits of finalist locations
Mid June - Project Inspire recipient is announced.
To be considered, applicants need to complete an application form.In the application, images can be included to document the story and should keep to no more than three pages. If the applicant is a student body organization, a principal's approval in writing must be secured when submitting the completed application.
