To restrict access to GPU performance counters to admin users

  1. Launch the NVIDIA Control Panel as an administrator.

    Either:

    • Log in to Windows as an administrator, then launch the NVIDIA Control Panel, or

    • Use the Windows file manager to navigate to C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Control Panel Client, then right-click nvcplui.exe and select Run as administrator.

  2. If the Developer module is not visible, then click Desktop from the menu bar and tick Enable Developer settings.

  3. From the NVIDIA Control Panel, navigate to Developer -> Manage GPU Performance Counters.

  4. Select Restrict access to GPU performance counters to admin users only, then click Apply.
