Licensing

The following products are available as licensed products on supported NVIDIA® Data Centre GPUs:

NVIDIA RTX Virtual Workstation (vWS)
NVIDIA Virtual Compute Server(vCS)
NVIDIA Virtual PC (vPC)
NVIDIA Virtual Applications (vApps)

An NVIDIA vGPU or physical GPU runs at reduced capability until the virtual machine (VM) or host acquires a licence. A licence is required to enable the full range of features.

After obtaining a licence, the VM or host retains the licence until it is shut down. When the VM or host is shut down, it releases the licence back to the licence server.
