Licensing

The following products are available as licensed products on supported NVIDIA^® Data Center GPUs:

NVIDIA RTX Virtual Workstation (vWS)
NVIDIA Virtual Compute Server(vCS)
NVIDIA Virtual PC (vPC)
NVIDIA Virtual Applications (vApps)

An NVIDIA vGPU or physical GPU runs at reduced capability until the virtual machine (VM) or host acquires a license. A license is required to enable the full range of features.

After obtaining a license, the VM or host retains the license until it is shut down. When the VM or host is shut down, it releases the license back to the license server.
