Override Blocking Programs

If a program is running a 3D process, you will not be able to switch Hybrid graphics modes unless you first close the "blocking" program.

You can override the blocking action of some programs if you encounter the following situations:

 

How do I set my program to allow me to switch Hybrid graphics modes?

  1. Click the Override blocking programs link in the graphics mode selection window.

  2. In the Override blocking programs window, click Add to open the Add file browser window.

  3. Locate your program, then select it and click Open.

    The application name is added to the Override blocking programs list, with the program action automatically set to "Block".

  4.  Select the program, click Don't block, and then click OK or Apply.

How to I set my program to prevent me from switching Hybrid graphics modes?

  1. Click the Override blocking programs link in the graphics mode selection window.
