To set the power mode on supported notebooks

 

  1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under 3D Settings, select Manage Power and Display Settings.

    NOTE: If management of display settings is not supported, then select Manage Power Settings.

  2. If multiple tabs appear on the page, click the Power Mode tab.

  3. Select the power mode to use.

    • Select Performance to achieve the highest gaming performance when fan noise is not an issue.

    • Select Balanced to achieve the best balance between power consumption, fan noise, and optimal gaming performance.

    • Select Quiet for reduced fan noise and good gaming performance.

  4. Click Apply.
