Windows Vista® Service Pack 1
Microsoft recently made service pack
1 available to Windows Vista customers. This service pack contains all previously recommended hotfixes and is
recommended for GeForce customers running Windows Vista.
Vista Service Pack 1 FAQ's:
- Why is SP1 important for GeForce customers?
SP1 includes ALL of the hotfixes that NVIDIA has
recommended for Vista over the past year. SP1 also includes a year's worth of more general improvements for
Vista.
- Do I need a new graphics driver for SP1?
No, however, NVIDIA recommends using the latest WHQL drivers.
- Does SP1 offer any gaming performance improvements?
There are no significant gaming performance
differences between SP1 and the previously recommended group of hotfixes.
