Enhanced Interaction

Flexible, Interactive Presentations

USD Presenter includes simple-to-use tools for designers and presenters to showcase the breadth of their work, ensuring every detail can be reviewed instantly.

Editable waypoints let presenters instantly navigate to key positions throughout the scene with specific time of day or render settings. With a fully navigable, full-fidelity 3D scene, reviewers can deep dive into acute design details—impossible to do today with static 2D renders.

Omniverse  USD Presenter features several render modes powered by the advanced Omniverse RTX™ Renderer. Collaborators and presenters can simply toggle between real-time RTX ray-traced mode, interactive path-traced mode, or RTX accurate mode powered by Iray.

Easy Reviewing

Never Miss a Detail

USD Presenter enables stakeholders to easily check, review, and leave annotations on full-fidelity 3D scenes.

Markup tools let users add 2D text, shapes, and scribbles to convey any changes or iterations.

The improved measure tool includes point-to-point, multipoint, area, and angle capabilities to keep assets and scenes exact.

Annotations and comments can then be exported to common formats like PDF, XLSX, or CSV.

The fully configurable section tool enables swift and accurate visualizations of sectional cutaways of a 3D model.

  • How to Build Simulation-Ready USD 3D Assets

    • Renato Gasoto, Robotics & AI Engineer, NVIDIA
    • Beau Perschall, Director, Omniverse Sim Data Ops, NVIDIA

The next wave of industries and AI requires us to build physically accurate virtual worlds indistinguishable from reality. Creating virtual worlds is hard, and today's existing universe of 3D assets is inadequate, representing just the visual representation of an object. Whether building digital twins or virtual worlds for training and testing autonomous vehicles or robots, 3D assets require many more technical properties, requiring a need to develop and adopt novel processes, techniques, and tools. NVIDIA is introducing a new class of 3D assets called "SimReady" assets—the building blocks of virtual worlds. SimReady assets are more than just 3D objects—they encompass accurate physical properties, behavior, and connected data streams built on Universal Scene Description (USD). We'll show you how to get started with SimReady USD assets, and present the tools and techniques required to develop and test these assets.
