NaturalMotion develops advanced animation technologies for games and movies. Its flagship motion synthesis engine euphoria debuted in the record-breaking Grand Theft Auto IV to widespread acclaim. Unlike convention animation, euphoria uses the hardware’s processing power to generate character movement on the fly, thus creating truly surprising game moments and interactivity.

NaturalMotion’s other run-time engine, morpheme, has experienced rapid adoption in the games industry, with customers including Bioware, Eidos, Ninja Theory, CCP, Disney and many others. The new version 2.0 now features fully integrated NVIDIA PhysX support.

In addition to its technology licensing business, NaturalMotion is developing games for PC and consoles. Its recently announced football title Backbreaker features completely interactive tackles that are unique every time, and a breathtaking on-the-field camera gameplay experience.

Founded in 2004, Nurien Software is a leading developer and operator of next-generation social networking and online game platforms. We develop next-gen, state-of-the-art, 3D online worlds with integrated games – all of which come together to offer users an experience that takes them beyond the mere virtual. Our fully customizable 3D avatar system allows users to create extremely realistic and unique avatars to share experiences with one another via our robust social networking features and online games.

Nurien’s next-gen 3D social network platform was built in-house by a team led by members responsible for such global hits as Lineage, Legend of Mir, and Audition. Our 3D technology combines the most advanced technologies available today, including Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 and NVIDIA’s PhysX.

But despite the spectacular 3D visuals and feature-rich system, our end-goal has always been relatively simple - to create a world where people can connect and share experiences with other people. All of our technologies have been built with this goal in mind – enabling all of our users the freedom to really express themselves and become true individuals within our online communities. Whether they interact in our virtual world, connect via our social networking features, or play in one of our massively multiplayer games, Nurien allows everybody to be who they want to be while enjoying a myriad of online activities together.

Nurien Software is a global operation with offices in Seoul, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. In August 2008, Nurien was awarded Best Emerging Company at NVISION 2008 Visual Computing Conference. For more information, visit // Nurien - Beyond the Real World™.

Pixelux Entertainment has developed a revolutionary new 3D Animation technology called Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) which provides a level of realism in animation not possible before. DMM achieves this realism through the use of a proprietary, real-time, Finite Element Method (FEM) system to simulate the physical properties of objects.

With DMM, an artist can create objects that not only look good, but that move and react to external forces as if they were real. Plants can subtly sway as they are subjected to a simulated wind, Glass can shatter into sharp shards, wood can bend and splinter, and stone walls can crumble and fall. DMM even allows the simulation of flesh to make character animation attain a completely new level of realism.
