NVIDIA PhysX SDK Archives
This page contains archive links to previous versions of the PhysX PC SDK. These archives are provided for developers needing to maintain those SDKs in long-term legacy projects. NVIDIA recommends the Current PhysX SDK for all typical users.

PhysX SDK System Software
PhsyX SDK is installed in two parts. In addition to the versioned SDK installation, you will need to install a SystemSoftware release (below) that supports your SDK. Unless there are problems, you should always use the latest version of the SystemSoftware, as it may address issues found in previous versions.
- System Software Versions for Development
- PhysX_8.06.12 System Software
- This System Software is a required installation for developing and running PhysX-enabled applications. This new release adds support for NVIDIA PhysX on GeForce 9800 GTX, GeForce GTX 280, and GeForce GTX 260 GPUs, including SLI configurations and supports versions 2.8.1, 2.8.0, 2.7.4, 2.7.3, 2.7.2, 2.7.1, 2.7.0, 2.6.4, 2.6.3, 2.6.2, 2.6.1, 2.6.0, 2.5.1, 2.5.0, 2.4.4, 2.4.1, 2.4.0, 2.3.3, 2.3.2, 2.3.1 of the PhysX runtime engine.
- Note: GeForce v177.39 driver package also includes NVIDIA PhysX System Software v8.06.12.

- PhysX_8.04.25_SystemSoftware.exe
- This System Software is a required installation for developing and running PhysX-enabled applications. It provides runtime and driver support for all versions of the PhysX SDK up to and including versions 2.8.1.
Also includes updated demo applications and improved support for Windows Vista. - PhysX_8.02.13_SystemSoftware.exe
- This System Software is a required installation for developing and running PhysX-enabled applications. It provides runtime and driver support for all versions of the PhysX SDK up to and including versions 2.8.0.
- PhysX_7.11.13_SystemSoftware.exe
- This System Software is a required installation for developing and running PhysX-enabled applications. It provides runtime and driver support for all versions of the PhysX SDK up to and including versions 2.7.3.
- PhysX_7.09.13_SystemSoftware.exe
- This System Software is a required installation for developing and running PhysX-enabled applications. It provides runtime and driver support for all versions of the PhysX SDK up to and including versions 2.7.4.
NVIDIA PhysX SDK
Be sure that you have installed the appropriate PhysX System Software before using the SDK.
PhysX SDK Version 2.8.0 - November 2007
- PhysX_2.8.0_SDK_Core.msi
- This is the required core for all installations of the PhysX SDK. Contains headers, libs, dlls, samples, and documentation. Requires installation of the appropriate PhysX System Software as described above.

- Core code for Linux

- PhysX_2.7.3_SDK_Core.exe
- This is the required core for all installations of the PhysX SDK. Contains headers, libs, dlls, samples, and documentation. Requires installation of the appropriate PhysX System Software as described above.
- PhysX_2.7.3_SDK_CoreLinux_deb.tar.gz
- Core code for Linux
- PhysX_2.7.3_SDK_CoreLinux_rpm.tar.gz

- Contains Rocket, Rocket data files, and web installer for the required version of DirectX. PhysX plugins will be available from //SourceForge.net
