GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER Out Now

Starting at $999 the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER enables players to immerse themselves in Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, and Portal with RTX with fully ray-traced visuals, with every other setting cranked to the absolute max. Our newest GPU is 1.4X faster than the RTX 3080 Ti without frame generation, in the most graphically intensive games. But with 836 AI TOPS, DLSS Frame Generation delivers an extra performance boost, making the RTX 4080 SUPER twice as fast as an RTX 3080 Ti.

For gamers seeking maximum performance at the highest resolutions, the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER is second only to the GeForce RTX 4090.

In addition to gaming and streaming, GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series GPUs are fantastic for productivity and creativity applications. 3D apps like Blender run up to 70% faster than previous generations, helping you complete tasks far faster and produce better results. In new Generative AI apps, GeForce RTX 40 SUPER Series graphics cards are significantly faster than the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.

Stable Diffusion XL producing 1024x1024 images using Stable Diffusion WebUI by Automatic1111 is 1.7X faster, and the GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER is 1.5X faster at generating video in Stable Video Diffusion, creating 25-frame content using ComfyUI.

RTX Video HDR Available Now: AI Powered By GeForce RTX Tensor Cores Enhances SDR Content

In case you missed the news last week, RTX Video adds a new AI-enhanced HDR feature to all GeForce RTX GPUs, instantly converting any Standard Dynamic Range (SDR) video playing in select internet browsers into vibrant High Dynamic Range (HDR).

HDR mode lets you watch SDR video in stunning HDR quality. HDR is not a new format, but is still not widely streamed online because of the extra work and hardware required to produce HDR content. Using the power of Tensor Cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, RTX Video HDR allows GeForce RTX GPU owners to maximize their HDR panel’s ability to display more vivid, dynamic colors, preserving intricate details that may be inadvertently rendered unidentifiable due to video compression.

RTX Video HDR and RTX Video Super Resolution can be used together to produce the clearest live streamed video anywhere, anytime. The combined features work on Chromium-based browsers such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

To enable RTX Video HDR and Video Super Resolution on any HDR10-compatible display:

  1. Download and install the newest available Game Ready or Studio Ready driver
  2. Ensure Windows’ HDR features are enabled in System > Display > HDR
  3. Open the NVIDIA Control Panel by right clicking your desktop
  4. Navigate to Adjust Video Image Settings on the left nav of the app
  5. Tick “Super Resolution” and “High Dynamic Range”

Now, open any of the aforementioned apps and watch a SDR video — it will be automatically converted to HDR, and have improved detail and sharpness. For additional information, check out our RTX Video FAQ.

RTX Video HDR is yet another example of how GeForce RTX Tensor Cores and AI can further enhance your experience, for free. NVIDIA DLSS significantly accelerates performance in games and creative apps, NVIDIA Broadcast supercharges mics and cams, transforming any room into a home studio, NVIDIA Canvas turns simple brushstrokes into realistic landscape images, and the NVIDIA RTX Remix Open Beta enables modders to upgrade classic games with RTX technologies and textures enhanced by Generative AI.

Stay tuned to discover the next applications of AI to enhance your work, leisure and play.

Drop into an expansive and dynamic open-world Metropolis ravaged by Brainiac’s invasion and terrorized by the heroes who once protected it.

Each Squad member brings their own traversal mechanics to help them navigate a sprawling and battle-torn Metropolis, combining free-roaming exploration and combat verticality for an unforgettable experience. Players are free to experiment with a variety of different play styles to unleash maximum damage on their enemies. Whether in single player or online with up to three of your friends, players can take on this suicide mission their own way.

Post-launch, players can expect a continuously evolving Metropolis with free new playable villains, environments, weapons, in-game events, and more, all included with purchase of the base game.

On PC, leverage the power of your GeForce RTX GPU to enhance your experience in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Use dedicated RT Cores to enable ray-traced reflections, and use your GPU’s Tensor Cores to activate NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution.

If your frame rates are fast enough already, instead consider activating NVIDIA DLAA, an AI-based anti-aliasing mode that utilizes the same technology developed for DLSS. DLAA uses a native resolution image to maximize image quality, rather than boosting performance, for an even richer experience.
