The NVIDIA^® Skyway™ gateway appliance provides 1.6Tb/s throughput, enabling scalable and efficient connectivity from InfiniBand data centers to external Ethernet-based infrastructures and storage.

Scalability and Efficiency

NVIDIA Skyway offers a scalable and effective path to seamlessly connect 100/200Gb/s InfiniBand data centers to 100/200GbE infrastructures while maintaining the lowest InfiniBand latency within the entire data center. As an appliance-based InfiniBand to Ethernet gateway, Skyway enables Ethernet storage and other Ethernet-based communications to access InfiniBand-connected data centers, and vice versa. The solution leverages the NVIDIA Mellanox^® ConnectX^® hardware-based forwarding of IP packets and standard IP-routing protocols and supports HDR 200Gb/s InfiniBand connectivity, future-proofing the network to support higher speeds as they become available.
