Research in circuits and VLSI supports the continuous development of high performance integrated circuit products with emphasis on low-power and high-performance.

The computational demands of real-time 3D graphics, AI, and high-performance computing require the highest performance and efficiency from our integrated circuits.  Our research scientists advance the state-of-the-art in digital and analog circuits and develop automated design methodologies for Very-Large-Scale-Integration (VLSI) implementations to meet these computational demands, collaborating with our internal product and engineering teams to bring research ideas to market.  Recent publications include:

 A 0.54pJ/b 20Gb/s Ground-Referenced Single-Ended Short-Haul Serial Link in 28nm CMOS for Advanced Packaging Applications and Modeling and Analysis of Power Supply Noise Tolerance with Fine-grained GALS Adaptive Clocks.
