Research in circuits and VLSI supports the continuous development of high performance integrated circuit products with emphasis on low-power and high-performance.

The computational demands of real-time 3D graphics, AI, and high-performance computing require the highest performance and efficiency from our integrated circuits.  Our research scientists advance the state-of-the-art in digital and analog circuits and develop automated design methodologies for VLSI implementation to meet these computational demands, collaborating with our internal product and engineering teams to bring research ideas to market.  Recent publications include A 0.54pJ/b 20Gb/s Ground-Referenced Single-Ended Short-Haul Serial Link in 28nm CMOS for Advanced Packaging Applications and Modeling and Analysis of Power Supply Noise Tolerance with Fine-grained GALS Adaptive Clocks.
