COMPUTEX 2023: Hundreds of GeForce RTX & Studio Laptops and GPUs On Display, Plus G-SYNC and ULMB 2 Gaming Monitors

Established in 1981, COMPUTEX is the world’s leading computer technology exhibition, featuring over 1000 exhibitors from 26 countries, all demonstrating their latest advancements, newest products, and future innovations. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang kicked-off proceedings with a live keynote, highlighting how the next AI moment is here, and its impact across every industry and the world.

With NVIDIA AI powering solutions for gaming (including the newly-announced NVIDIA ACE for Games), creativity, STEM, general work, architecture, data science, data centers, cloud computing, design and simulations, robotics, edge computing, high-performance computing, self-driving vehicles, and so much more, COMPUTEX attendees saw NVIDIA technology virtually everywhere they went.

For gamers and creators, a dozen partners highlighted hundreds of NVIDIA-powered products, including powerful new 14” GeForce RTX and NVIDIA Studio laptops, new GPU designs, and new G-SYNC monitors, including the world’s first Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 displays.

Our partners painted COMPUTEX green, showcasing the wide scale adoption of NVIDIA technology for gamers and creators.

On a variety of GeForce RTX 40 Series PCs, laptops and G-SYNC displays, attendees interested in gaming were able to try:

  • Cyberpunk 2077 Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode: The technology preview of the fully ray-traced mode (a.k.a. path tracing) demonstrated the incredible fidelity and performance that only GeForce RTX GPUs can deliver.
  • Overwatch 2: Running at hundreds of frames per second, with minimal system latency thanks to NVIDIA Reflex, and maximum smoothness and clarity on G-SYNC high refresh rate gaming monitors, Overwatch 2 exemplifies the advantages to competitive gaming on GeForce RTX.
  • Sackboy: A Big Adventure: The critically acclaimed platformer features beautiful graphics that are further enhanced by an array of ray-traced effects. Using NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA Reflex, performance and gameplay is at its very best.
  • Returnal: High stakes, high speed action games demand fast frame rates and minimal system latency. Thanks to DLSS 3’s performance multiplier, and Reflex’s one of a kind technology, Returnal is experienced at its best on GeForce RTX.
  • Portal with RTX: Created with NVIDIA RTX Remix, Portal with RTX is a free update for the classic game that introduces fully ray-traced graphics, new models, new textures, and more, all accelerated by DLSS 3.

The NVIDIA Studio platform supercharges your creative process, and delivers the best performance and stability for hobbyists, aspiring artists, and industry professionals alike. With RTX and AI acceleration in top creative apps, a suite of exclusive AI-powered tools, and NVIDIA Studio Drivers for maximum software performance and stability, NVIDIA Studio has rapidly emerged as the premier platform for creators.

At partners’ booths, COMPUTEX attendees could experience or go hands-on with:

  • AV1 Livestreaming: AV1 uses less bandwidth, quality is noticeably improved, and leading streaming and recording apps are embracing it rapidly. Online services are also embracing AV1, delivering end-to-end support, which is at its best on GeForce RTX and NVIDIA Studio products.
  • RTX Video Super Resolution: Real-time AI upscaling for live streams, streaming services, video platforms, local video files, and more.
  • NVIDIA Broadcast: The free app transforms any room into a home studio. Take your livestreams, voice chats, and video conference calls to the next level with AI-enhanced voice and video.
  • NVIDIA Canvas: The free app uses AI and the power of GeForce RTX to turn simple brushstrokes into realistic landscape images in mere seconds.
  • Blender: The world’s most popular 3D creation suite recently added support for rendering Open Shading Language (OSL) shaders with the NVIDIA OptiX ray-tracing engine, accelerating render times by up to 36X.
  • NVIDIA Encoder: This 8th gen, AV1-capable dedicated component on each GeForce RTX 40 Series GPU is used to encode video, lifting the strain from your CPU. This frees up the system to run your games at fast frame rates while streaming, and to encode in Premiere and other apps at the fastest speed possible. Learn more here.
