This week, Microsoft launched the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, which includes the public release of DirectX Ray Tracing ( DXR ), a feature that’s necessary for NVIDIA RTX Ray Tracing’s next-gen effects.

To support DirectX Ray Tracing, and Windows 10’s other new features, we’re launching a special Windows 10-only Game Ready driver, which you can download and install from the “Drivers” tab of GeForce Experience.

If you experience any technical issues with the new Game Ready drivers please post a detailed report on the GeForce.com Driver Feedback Forum, where our Customer Care team can better assist you. A list of fixes in this driver for previously-reported issues can be found here.

If you have a GeForce RTX graphics card, make sure to stay tuned to GeForce.com for the announcement of new RTX tech integrations, and other exciting news.
