Available Recording Appointments:

We'll accommodate recording appointments for all time zones around the globe. Please note that our NVIDIA Virtual Studio operates in the following time zones:

  • Central European Time (CET)
  • Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Eastern Standard Time (EST)
  • Pacific Standard Time (PST)

During the Recording Session:

  • Once you’ve recorded, look out for an email from your producer with next steps.
  • Your producer will provide you with a viewable link in Frame.io. Please review the recording for any major errors, and respond to your producer with "approval".
  • We're limited in the number of revisions we can make, so please only request critical changes.
  • All sessions will have English captions. Please look out for an email from your producer in case they need your help in clarifying the text.

Once you've approved your recording and captions, that's it! We'll see you on your scheduled GTC broadcast day.

Virtual Studio Best Practices

Webcam

  • Use a plain/neutral background.
  • Center your face and keep eye-contact with the camera (try placing your script near the camera).
  • If you stumble, it's ok. This happens during a live event, too. Just pause if needed and continue your talk.

Setup

  • Make sure your phone and computer are set to silent to prevent notifications
  • Close all doors and windows to prevent outside noises and interference.

Audio

  • Use a high-quality, plug-in microphone (recommended: Blue Yeti, Rode, Elgato, Shure, or Razer) or use a quality Bluetooth or wireless headset.
  • Be sure to speak clearly and at a slow pace. This will enable better captioning and allow your talk to reach a wider audience.

Internet

  • Ensure that VPN is turned off for the best connection.
  • Use ethernet or high-speed Wi-Fi (50mbs+).
  • Check your internet speed. We recommended at least 100Mbps download and 8.0Mbps upload speed for HD quality.

Lighting & Backdrop

  • Have a consistent light source in front of your face.
  • Use a light such as a desk lamp or ‘ring’ light—preferably something that allows you to adjust the brightness level.
  • Have a clean, simple background.

Wardrobe

  • Wear solid, rich, or neutral colors.
  • Wear a color that contrasts with your background.
