GeForce RTX gamers wanting the fastest, smoothest Borderlands 4 possible can enable NVIDIA DLSS.

Our newest DLSS innovation, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, generates up to three additional frames per traditional frame, multiplying performance significantly, for the fastest gaming possible at the highest resolutions and detail levels.

GeForce RTX 50 Series owners can multiply Borderlands 4 frame rates by up to 5.5X using DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.

GeForce RTX 40 Series owners can accelerate performance with DLSS Frame Generation. And all GeForce RTX gamers can boost frame rates and enhance image clarity using DLSS Super Resolution’s transformer AI model.

Additionally, all GeForce gamers can activate NVIDIA Reflex, reducing PC latency by up to 54%, further increasing the responsiveness of Borderlands 4’s fast-paced action.

At 4K, max settings, enabling DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution sees frame rates in Borderlands 4 multiply by an average of 5.5X, delivering the best possible experience for GeForce RTX 50 Series gamers.

At 2560x1440, a 4.3X average performance multiplier enables the GeForce RTX 5090 to run Borderlands 4 at nearly 300 frames per second, with other GeForce RTX 50 GPUs delivering over 200 frames per second at max settings.

At 1920x1080, all GeForce RTX 50 Series gamers can play at over 160 frames per second, with settings maxed out in Borderlands 4 thanks to DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and DLSS Super Resolution’s 4.2X average performance multiplier.

Now, everyone can try the popular open world survival-crafting game thanks to a Steam Free Weekend that allows you to check out and play all of the game’s content.

The Dune: Awakening Free Weekend will run September 11-15, opening the vast deserts of Arrakis to everyone! There are zero restrictions on content during this Free Weekend, which also includes the big Chapter 2 content update. Anyone who plays during the Free Weekend, even those who already own the game, will receive the Arrakis Rising decoration, a beautiful mural for your base.

Chapter 2 is available now along with the paid Lost Harvest DLC that includes a standalone storyline and new content.

In Chapter 2, embark on the next chapter of the main story following the sinister revelations at the end of Chapter 1. The DLC also includes several unique cosmetics, including a brand-new vehicle, the Treadwheel, complete with its own unique animations and tier upgrades. The vehicle and other cosmetics provide no material benefit over its base game counterpart. Other cosmetics include several armor and weapon skins, and the Dune Man building set, letting you build bases in the style of those pragmatic and weathered workers of Arrakis.
