  • What is NVIDIA Broadcast?

    NVIDIA Broadcast transforms any space into a home broadcast studio, upgrading standard webcams and microphones into premium smart devices through the power of AI. Improve the video and audio quality of your livestream with AI capabilities, such as virtual background, webcam auto frame, and microphone noise removal. With dedicated AI processors called Tensor Cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, the AI networks are able to run high-quality effects in real-time.

     

    When not broadcasting, these features can also enhance your video conference calls and voice chats, making NVIDIA Broadcast a perfect AI companion for anyone.

  • What effects are available in NVIDIA Broadcast?

    The NVIDIA Broadcast app includes:

    • Noise Removal: use AI to remove background noise from your microphone feed – be it a loud mechanical keyboard or doorbell ringing. The AI network can even be used on incoming audio feeds to mute that one friend who won’t turn on push-to-talk.
    • Virtual Background: use AI to remove the background of your webcam feed and replace it with game footage, a replacement image, or even a subtle blur.
    • Auto Frame: use AI to track your head movement, automatically cropping and zooming so you’re always in the frame, even as you move around.

     

    The new Virtual Background and Auto Frame camera features are being released in beta so the community can experience and provide feedback to help us improve them.

  • What devices are compatible with NVIDIA Broadcast?

    NVIDIA Broadcast works with most PC microphones, speakers or headsets, and webcams. These include most recent models from popular manufacturers such as Logitech, ElGato, AverMedia, Razer, Asus, HyperX, SteelSeries, Rode and Bose. It even works with Apple Airpods!

     

    Make sure that if your device has a similar feature to NVIDIA Broadcast (e.g. Noise Removal) you turn it off, so you don’t try to apply the same effect twice.

  • What apps are compatible with NVIDIA Broadcast?

    NVIDIA Broadcast is compatible with a wide range of broadcasting, video conferencing and voice chat apps. These include: OBS Studio, Streamlabs, XSplit Broadcaster, Twitch Studio, HuYa, DouYu, Bilibili, Discord, TeamSpeak, Skype, Zoom, Webex, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Google Meet, Bluejeans and more.

  • How do I enable NVIDIA Broadcast features?

    NVIDIA Broadcast works by creating a virtual Windows camera, microphone, or speaker on your PC, so it appears to video or voice chat applications like a physical device.  Simply enable features from within the NVIDIA Broadcast app, then select the NVIDIA Broadcast device from your video or voice chat application.

  • What are the system requirements for NVIDIA Broadcast?

    • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, Quadro RTX 3000, TITAN RTX, or higher

    • RAM: 8GB of RAM

    • OS: Windows 10 64-bit

    • Driver: 456.38 or higher

    • CPU: Intel Core i5 8600, AMD Ryzen r5 2600 or higher recommended

    • Internet Connectivity during installation

  • Why is connectivity required to install NVIDIA Broadcast?

    During the installation process, NVIDIA Broadcast will download the latest AI models for your GPU. This ensures that you have the latest version, and reduces the download size by only requiring you to download the models needed for your GPU.
