GeForce RTX @ QuakeCon 2026: GPU Giveaways, Swag, $10,000 Mod Contest & More

QuakeCon is the annual celebration of all things id Software, and in its 30th year, NVIDIA is once again on-hand to entertain and delight attendees with giveaways, competitions, and prizes!

If you’re attending this year’s event between August 6th and 9th, head to the GeForce booth ASAP to get in on the action. And if you want a GPU upgrade, our team is bringing Verified Priority Access IRL to QuakeCon, enabling you to purchase Founders Edition GeForce RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070s at MSRP while supplies last.

If you’ve got skills and want to try to win a GPU, participate in our Quake III Arena RTX Remix and DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations challenges, where the best player in each will receive a GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU, and runners up NVIDIA swag.

If you simply want some cool freebies, you may be able to snag a pack of GeForce Trading Cards, showcasing 14 of GeForce’s greatest gaming moments, along with other NVIDIA swag. Only a limited supply and while supplies last! To collect ‘em all, though, you’ll need to swap and trade with other attendees.

Additionally, look out for GeForce Evangelist Jacob Freeman and the GeForce team around the show, who will also be handing out other swag at random, as in year’s past.

Finally, if you’re participating in the QuakeCon Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN event, GeForce Garage will once again be hosting the official QuakeCon Mod Contest, awarding the creators of the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems with GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Come watch the Friday evening stage show to see the finalists, and learn who wins.

Winners will also receive gift cards for Bitspower watercooling components, TRYX All In One CPU coolers, and the grand prize winner will be flown to our HQ in California to star in a special Rig Spotlight video. In total, we’re giving away $10,000 of prizes - even more than last year!

Here’s how to participate:

• Head here and complete the form
• Select whether your system is a Case Mod or Scratch Build:
  • Case Mod: Modifications done to a readily-available PC chassis
  • Scratch Build: A PC housed in anything that isn’t a readily available PC chassis
• Bring your PC to QuakeCon and ensure it’s set up in time for Thursday, when the judges will begin evaluating entrants
• Please note, entries that have placed in previous QuakeCon Mod Contests are ineligible to re-enter unless significant modifications have been performed in the time since, and at least 75% of the work must have been completed by the entrant
