Thanks to BSC, we generate large models of human heart. To verify the accuracy of the models, we have to visualize the full dataset and high interactivity visualization is key to gathering meaningful findings. The IndeX plug-in enabled us to visualize our 54M tetrahedral cell model in real-time. Best of all, it fits right inside our existing ParaView workflow.

What GPUs are supported by the NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstation image from the CSP marketplaces?

The NVIDIA Tesla P40 GPU is supported (ND6 instances) on the Azure marketplace. The NVIDIA Tesla T4 GPU is supported on the GCP marketplace. We will be introducing support for other Tesla GPU-enabled instances in the future.
What are the costs associated with running NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstations from the cloud?

The NVIDIA’s instance in the Azure and Google marketplaces will have an hourly software license cost, plus added cost from CSP for the use of the NVIDIA Tesla GPU.
What applications are supported on NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Workstations from the cloud?

Professional engineering and creative applications, including high-end 3D applications developed by Siemens, Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS, and Autodesk, modern office applications, and even HPC applications that require NVIDIA CUDA(R), are supported. Customers only need to install these applications to their VM instance to get up and running.
How can customers use Quadro Virtual Workstations as they move towards public/hybrid cloud deployments?

Large and small-scale public/hybrid cloud deployments can be run from the Quadro Virtual Workstation instances in the cloud. In addition, organizations with enterprise licenses for the NVIDIA Quadro Virtual Data Center Workstation also have the option to leverage the cloud instance of Quadro Virtual Workstation.
