GeForce RTX At QuakeCon 2025: Custom DOOM: The Dark Ages PC Giveaways, $10,000 Mod Contest, RTX Demos & More

After giving away a ton of prizes and swag in 2024, GeForce Evangelist Jacob Freeman and the GeForce team are heading back to Texas for QuakeCon 2025, taking place between August 7th and 10th.

If you’re attending, head straight to the GeForce booth for a chance to win prizes, which this year include three customized DOOM: The Dark Ages PCs, GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, and more.

For a chance to win one of those 3 PCs, you need to grab a stamp card at our booth, then get 3 stamps from our demo stations, where you can play DOOM: The Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Doom 2: RAY TRACED with path tracing, and play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered and other great games maxed out.

Once you’ve got your 3 stamps, follow the instructions on the card, and 3 lucky winners will be contacted with details of how to claim their custom PCs, provided by ASUS, Falcon Northwest, and MAINGEAR.

Around our booth and the show there’ll also be other chances to win, such as our Doom 2: RAY TRACED and DOOM: The Dark Ages challenges by id Software and Bethesda Softworks, where you can demonstrate your gaming prowess for a chance to win a GeForce RTX 5070 Founders Edition GPU. And each entrant will also receive a custom GeForce RTX-QuakeCon frisbee, while supplies last.

Keep your eyes peeled and ears open for other opportunities for swag and prizes, too, and in particular watch out for Jacob Freeman - where he goes, prizes usually appear.

Additionally, if you’re participating in the QuakeCon Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN event, GeForce Garage will once again be hosting the official QuakeCon Mod Contest, and will be awarding owners of the best modded PCs and scratch-built systems with GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. Winners will also receive gift cards for custom cables from Bespoke Baka, gift cards for Bitspower watercooling components, TRYX All In One CPU coolers, and the grand prize winner will be flown to our HQ in California to star in a special Rig Spotlight video. In total, we’re giving away $10,000 of prizes - even more than last year!

Here’s how to participate:

• Head here and complete the form
• Select whether your system is a Case Mod or Scratch Build:
  • Case Mod: Modifications done to a readily-available PC chassis
  • Scratch Build: A PC housed in anything that isn’t a readily available PC chassis
• Bring your PC to QuakeCon and ensure it’s set up in time for Thursday, when the judges will begin evaluating entrants
• Please note, entries that have placed in previous QuakeCon Mod Contests are ineligible to re-enter unless significant modifications have been performed in the time since, and at least 75% of the work must have been completed by the entrant
