Resident Evil™ Requiem has received top marks from reviewers, and is now available on Steam, featuring path-traced effects, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and NVIDIA Reflex. Experience a new era of survival horror, and pulse-pounding action, playing as FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and the legendary Leon S. Kennedy, in the new, incredibly immersive instalment in the beloved franchise.
Leveraging the latest enhancements to Capcom’s RE Engine, Resident Evil Requiem takes the franchise’s fidelity to new heights, elevating the action, and making exploration and survival horror truly terrifying.
On GeForce RTX PCs and laptops, Resident Evil Requiem steps up from ray tracing to bleeding-edge path tracing, cranking the quality of effects and lighting to 11.
Path tracing accurately simulates light throughout an entire scene by sampling a wide range of potential light paths a singular ray can follow, improving precision, quality, and realism.
Shadows throughout Resident Evil Requiem’s creepy locales display accurate contact hardening and softening, with per-pixel precision, allowing for shadowing of minute details, the biggest enemies, and everything in between, elevating each scene.
Highly detailed path-traced reflections are rendered on suitably shiny surfaces, accurately simulating the effect of light bouncing multiple times, enabling you to see reflected characters, enemies and objects throughout Resident Evil Requiem.
And in general, more realistic rendering of light creates more realistic, believable scenes, where light naturally propagates, illuminates, and shadows, interacting with materials and models to elevate the appearance of every game element during every moment of Resident Evil Requiem’s campaign.

When path tracing is activated on GeForce RTX GPUs, DLSS Ray Reconstruction is automatically enabled, combining DLSS Super Resolution with advanced AI-powered denoising to accelerate frame rates and further enhance the fidelity of path traced effects.
GeForce RTX 50 Series owners can activate DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, multiplying frame rates by up to 3X, compared to performance when using DLSS Ray Reconstruction and DLSS Super Resolution. And GeForce RTX 40 Series owners can activate DLSS Frame Generation to boost performance as well.
DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation generates three additional frames per traditional frame, multiplying performance significantly, for the fastest gaming possible at the highest resolutions and detail levels, giving you the performance to experience path-traced blockbusters like Resident Evil Requiem at smooth frame rates.
At 4K, with Resident Evil Requiem running at absolute highest settings, with path tracing, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and 4X DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, GeForce RTX 5090 owners can experience the game at its very best at over 280 frames per second, while GeForce RTX 5080 owners can play at almost 200 frames per second.
At 2560x1440, GeForce RTX 5090 owners can experience path-traced Resident Evil Requiem at a blistering 340 frames per second thanks to DLSS Ray Reconstruction and 4X DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation. GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti owners, meanwhile, can play at over 200 frames per second, with every setting maxed out.
At 1920x1080, the majority of GeForce RTX 50 Series gamers can play Resident Evil Requiem at super smooth, super fast frame rates, with path tracing and maxed out settings, thanks to DLSS Ray Reconstruction and 4X DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation.
All GeForce RTX gamers also benefit from NVIDIA Reflex when playing Resident Evil Requiem. This critically acclaimed technology makes your actions occur faster, making games even more responsive, and more enjoyable - in Resident Evil Requiem it delivers a significant 46% reduction to PC latency.
